Update & Pictures

I put the whelping box to open to the kitchen, the potty park grass is next to the door on the floor

they spend most of their time playing now, skidding on the tile doesn't bother them one bit

as always puppies love the big fluffy pillow and will lay all over it to take a nap

they are doing dishes now, LOL you'll be able to expect the same when they come home  HA!


getting used to having the potty park grass around, soon will put it on a little taller frame, and then a little taller, etc.  They are very used to it by the time they go home.

Puppies are playing ... I mean ... drinking water, eating heartily baby rice cereal warmed with raw dog food.  They know I feed them now and come to me for food, chewing on my laces.

they get a sliver of NuVet vitamins and chew it daily
their second meal today will be softened kibble with a little of raw

Momma is way not interested in staying too long for the nursing, they all have sharp teeth

Fabien was running back and forth on the kitchen's tile floor, I could hear a "huff-huff-gruff" from the other room.  He was running back and forth, Fiona watching him with her head back and forth, she would jump him every once in a while and they would rassle.  All of the puppies are playing fiercely, I can see we will have to go to smaller groups as they grow.  

Fae and Fanny are first out of the whelping box this morning

it's nice to have permanent collars on them, I can tell who is doing what

Fae displays a lot of leadership, she's usually the first to do activities with several of them close behind.  I think it started when she was the largest of the litter, she's slowing down in size.
Fabien has taken over the largest of the litter, Florian is now larger than Fae.

Fanny had that little defiant flair with walking in the water this morning, I laughed.  She likes water.

Poodles are natural hunting water retrievers, they will love to play in water and go swimming.  As they grow, please be careful about Giardia which can be found in a puddle of water.

Finn is jumping and running and rolling and turning quickly, he's so cute!  Having a great time.
Then I put them back into the whelping box and he's like .. hey how do I get out of here

All of the puppies are showing dominance and get serious about their position in the litter.

Finn doesn't like going over the edge, it scratches his pee-pee.  Fiona left without me!
