Most of them have their eyes open and up and running around
Brought them into the family room with the television on. They don't have their ears open but you can tell they can hear more than ever. It was a little stressful for them with new smells, louder, Momma not around for a little while. They got weighed, pictures taken (put up high on a table with nothing to cuddle up to -- made them very uneasy). Then nails got trimmed and was neurally stimulated for three seconds each (without reacting to how they act). Three seconds upside down, three seconds spine erect, head up, three seconds on their back, and then cuddle for as long as they need so they forgive and get over the trauma of being manipulated.
Remember I'm not saying what they will be like in personality, just stating the facts, puppies can change completely by the personality testing, but this will also give you an idea what they were also like at any given stage of growth.
Since this week I've put my poodles back on the raw diet. I am more confident about their health and overall health so it's raw dog food for us and the puppies will be weaned on it too, but maybe not only raw, so time will tell. Evaluate ... change ... evaluate some more ... change. That's the best I can do.
some puppies got more pictures that were better than others, sorry, just the way it works sometimes
Fabien, weighed 1# 15oz
lots of good pictures of Fabien today
He's really fighting to get up on his feet, he wants to get up and walk. Very hungry guy. He is the lightest of the two silver puppies. He's fiesty, could hardly keep him on the table.
I took off a couple of pictures, the camera distorted Fabien's color, he is a black puppy with a brownish-mahogony hue, he's a beautiful puppy in color and structure.
Fae, weighed 1#12oz
She's constantly moving but she's also calm. Took a few pictures, she took a breath and growled in protest. Picked her up and she's eating my chin. Pee'd all by herself, first time I've seen that with the pups. She's sweet and cuddly but will growl rrr-ruf and then cuddle.
Fanny, weighed 1# 11oz
She's calm but you can feel her heart beat a little faster when she's unsure. She's calmer like Finn and Florian. I've been calling her black ... she is getting a few more white hairs on the tufts of her feet. She might be a dark blue, to the untrained eye a few wondering greying hairs. She's two weeks old and just now showing some color on her tufts. She's a very sweet puppy, warm and cuddly. Pushes up and pushes away from me to look around. Fanny reminds me of Everad! She has a small beautiful face
Fifi, weighed 1# 8oz
Big breath after all of the weighing, being in the loud family room, nails, etc., etc. A lot for a little puppy. She gave a little growl, cuddles and then a perfect little lap puppy, just wanted to be held. Fifi is a beautiful color, calm at this point, but likes to cuddle.
Finn, weighed 1# 11oz
eyes not open yet, picks up his head, little growling after the pictures eee-ruf he says. He struggles on his back, but makes up with cuddles. Finn is probably a blue boy, his tufts have more white than little Fanny and a lot less than Fabien's and Fiona's. He's a sweet pretty faced boy.
Fiona, weighed 1# 11oz
she growls, doesn't want to be turned over to see her pads, she's walking off of the table for pictures, hungry. The black puppies (2 wk old Fanny & Fiona) look alike today. About the same size, Fiona has more brown hue than Fanny, but Fanny does have a little. Fiona when she doesn't like something gets mad rather than nervous. She's running off of the table today too. But she's a sweetie too. She her purple collar and white tufts?

Florian, weighs 1# 14oz
Standing up and wobble walking, this little guy is strong and on the move. He does not growl or puppy bark until I insist on clipping his back feet nails. That did not make him happy, but after that, not a word. He's hungry. Doesn't struggle on his back, takes a breath and recoups easily. He's a great little puppy. I am curious how he tests on the volhard testing, probably an evenly balanced puppy. He reminds me of Dmitry from last litter (not related by the way to either momma or poppa, just a great little cream puppy)
no collar necessary for Florian, the only cream boy
he's pushing up to walk the whole time, tough to keep him from running off of the table
Please note: with any litter we reserve the right to keep a specific puppy out of a litter that will work with our breeding program.
