As I look into the puppy pen while momma is working on the next puppy, we have 4 black and 4 cream!
2 silvers 1m/1f
2 blacks or blues (maybe a silver can't tell yet) 1m/1f
3 cream females
1 cream male
she's all hunched over with 8 puppies feeding, I don't know if she has another or not
hence why an x-ray is a good idea, then you know for sure how many to wait for
#8 puppy is a silver boy, 12oz (white nails) Fabien
he's beautiful!! 2nd puppy butt first, i could also see his white toe nails with one foot sticking out, those are the scary times man!

#3 puppy, Fanny, does not have white toe nails, she's black
#7 puppy, Fiona has white toe nails .. hence a silver girl
they both weigh 13oz
#7 puppy is a silver girl, nails are white, born butt first (not uncommon in doggies)
she's 13oz we call her Fiona
6th puppy, a black boy, 11oz, Finn born at 11:20am
beautiful little face, looks like Gracie is having the small pups at the end of the group
(can't tell if he's black or silver or blue yet)

Fanny is under momma's back leg, wants quiet I guess
oh... Florian was cleaning Fae's face, how sweet is that!
5th puppy is a cream girl, Flora
must have been on the bottom and everybody squish her, she's 9oz, born 10am
she was so small Momma didn't know she had her, while I was in the kitchen getting more vanilla ice cream (for Grace) I didn't realize either for a minute she was under her leg. She's squeaking, rooting and doing fine. She's a lot smaller than our smallest last litter
LOL, during the break ... I know it's on everyone's minds, my husband has already called from work asking what we project the puppies' sizes full grown will be. So let's talk about that.
Grace and Everad have only one litter together to compare.
Please note this is off the top of my head, so if I find out different I will edit.
"Courtney" now Cricket was 10.8oz at birth, she's 18" and 25#
"Cova" now Callie was 11.1 oz at birth, she's 18" and 25#
"Cara" now Chula was 11.2oz, she's the surprising one, she's about 21" and 35#
"Claire" now Karma was 12.2oz, she's 19 3/4" about 28#
"Collette" now Coephie was 12.6oz at birth, now about 18" 25#
"Claudia" now Chewbecca was 13.7oz, now about 19" 28# - a little surprising
"Carli" now Carly was 13.7oz, she's a small girl about 19"
"Colby" now Celby was 13.5oz, always looked small, I think he's about 20"
"Cory" now Arthur was 13.4oz, always looked big, he's over 23", a Grace look alike
"Connor" now Teddy was 15oz, he always look gigantic next to the other puppies, he's about 23"
couple of the puppies surprised us, so this size guessing is not carved in rock
puppies can have growth splurts about 3-5 wks old, we can tell who wants to be bigger
Last Litter's Color?
Karma was born dark cream. She's now very light cream, almost white, with a hint of cream on her ears and black skin. Everad's grandsire is also cream, she's a repica of his color.
Callie was born black with lots of white pads, she's the same color as Grace, little smaller than Everad.
Carly and Claudia are black, Colby is blue/black
Connor and Cory are silver, maybe lighter than Grace

he's a quiet guy too, looks dark cream like Fifi, he's a beautiful boy ... and already eating

Grace had to really push to get her out and she's not very big!
Grace was in labor all night. First stage lasted the longest, 2nd stage was about 4:30am, about 5am she started to whimper, 6am started pushing and Fifi was born at 6:10am
